Throughout my experiences in athletics, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most gifted sports trainers around the game of basketball. Kumbeno is certainly a person I think of as one of those gifted trainers. His approach to training is very unique in that he is able to make his athletes feel very comfortable during instruction but at the same time demand maximum effort and intensity during his workouts. If a player at any level from amateur to professional is interested in developing their mental toughness, confidence, or basketball skill… Kumbeno is the man who can facilitate that.

– Ryan Slider (Former Dreamer & Former player at University of Montana, Pro & Current Head Coach at Woodburn High School)

Kumbeno is an expert in his field not to mention a very personable person. In working with him over the years I’ve always been impressed by his training methods. He is an impressive trainer, coach in both large group, small group or individual training sessions. It’s been an honor working with him over the years in his training my daughter and past team-mates….It was joy working with him to set up team sessions at various age groups with middle school teams and high school teams, we always saw a marked improvement following the training session…they always walked away with new learnings, new tools, and most importantly new insight on recognizing when & how to execute the new learnings. Also, seeing college players and NBA/WNBA players going to him for training in their off-seasons to keep their skills sharp to me was a true indicator and spoke volumes as to the very real quality of his training!  I highly recommend him to anyone that is wanting to up their game, increase their skills and is aspiring to reach the next level.

Kumbeno has always had a passion and attention for detail in the improvement and skill-development of the athletes he has worked with- whether they’re in elementary school or playing professionally. Always enjoyed the work that he does and the relationships and trust he’s earned with his athletes and the people who he works with.
